As I watched my image in the mirror
I saw wrinkles around my eyes

I said to myself while continuing to shave off yesterdays bristles.

I did this every morning.
I even had a note by the window that said :-Shave your bristles.
But the fact is that the whole room was filled with notes of what I should do and when
The note by the window was written on green paper.
Green was and still is my favorite colour
Time have though faded the lustre but I don't mind.
The note has still great value for me
It is what a bible is for others.
And earlier this morning when I looked out through the window
I was reminded - God I love green

Often I hear voices from the people in the corridor but I don't care
Why should I? Or should I?
Once I cried out -Hello? but no one answered.
No, I think it's best that I just leave them alone.
I have so much to do like painting the blockhead green

wich I collect when they take me out.
I have carved several people from the pieces
and they all have a name.
They're all part of my family now
Jesse, James and the others.
They all have one thing in common
apart from beeing related - they're all green
